War in Chaos Ends

• Celeste is acknowledged in the Courts as the Regent to the Regent for the King of Amber
• Gwen is attacked on the Rebman pattern
• Through Laetatio’s Trump shields (and bad stuff), the swarm of demons that is now controlled by Jean is transported to “places not threatening to Laetatio”. Many of these places are later revealed to be cross-reality.
• Zorro, formerly the apprentice to Princess Chandra, kills House Swayvill. Jean takes over the remnants of the house. Log
• With the support of Ilk and others, Neville of House Helgram participates in a successful coup in his house, becoming the new House Second and placing an ally as House Head.
• Silver Lyra is crowned the King of Chaos, replacing the absent (and presumably deceased) Jance

Shiryu Threatens to Reboot Reality

(Killing Gwen, take 1)

• Realms Master Shiryu investigates the Golden Circle Kingdom of Begma, and wipes it to its foundation. Angry at the situation with Gwen, Shiryu threatens to wipe reality clean and restart it if the problem isn’t taken care of. log
• The Courts of Chaos declare war on Gwen, and Silver Lyra steps down for a war king. Corwin is elected the wartime King.
• Shiryu unmakes Clarissa, and announces that she has allied with the other side for quite some time. log
• In two separate Grey Sphere incidents, first Corwin and the Warlord Marial, and then Norton are trapped. With difficulty, everone escapes.
• The promontory later known as Pride’s Folly was invaded by a motley and powerful crew. log 1 log 2 It was put in Neville’s hands for cleanup. But somehow Julian was the most recent controller.
  • Cathryne is slain when Caelin teleports a powerful guardian hound to her quarters in Rebma, at Cassandra’s suggestion.
  • Mandor (in Norton’s head) sacrifices Gwen’s daughter in order to open the sealed door to her laboratory in a normally no-magic promontory.
  • Gwen is killed through the efforts of multiple Pattern incarnations, Pattern blades, Logrus blades, massive amounts of warfare, and some really good drugs.
  • Neville is given the task of cleaning up Gwen’s RealityMachine
